Yesterday while I was in school it finaly happend, our first real snow!! We all hoped it would come with the holidays but it didn't. I did not hope on it anymore but yesterday it happend.

I was bored at the computer in school, making a website that I did not like and when I saw the snow I could not look away from the window anymore.

Walked to home with my bike in my hands, i'm not gonna ride in that weather! Still have a fresh memory from last year, my face almost meeting the floor. But I realy enjoyed the walk, snow makes me all young and childish again.

At home I was making myself ready and waiting for Myles to come. We were invited to Astrid's bdayparty. Ofcourse the boyfriend was late (like always) and I was getting pissed. I'm the kind of person who's always to early, but with him it's never possible and that works on my nerves.

I trief to make a pretty present for her , she have let me know she liked my fimocly work, especially the unicorn horn so I made one for her. Then I wrapped it in my prettiest giftpaper and tried to do something special with the ribbons, but oh how I fail at that :D

Then we wanted to take the tram, but after half an hour it still did not show up (wich is rare here becaus they normally come every 10 minutes) So we started to walk to the next station to get the tram, but also no succes. We almost were at the trainstation of Berchem when 3 trams came by and also missed those becaus we were not near any tramstation. pffff long walk, in the freaking snow, walking like a granny becaus everything is so slippery from all the snow and ice.

Over the bridge right next to the trainrails (freaked me out btw) and finaly we arrived at her home, almost 1,5 houres to late ...

There we had some cake, a fire burning and some nice company, but we had to leave early for our last tram or we could walk all that way back home again.

Arrived at the tramstation, we waited and waited, saw some trams going by without stopping for us. So we decided to walk home again, when passing by a other tramstation where we noticed they changed the time the trams still ride, instead of 00.30u for the last tram it's now like 11.54u .... bastards! that's way to early to stop riding!

So another hour walking in the snow, my boyfriend who was whining like a kid that he had to pee. His toes where frozen becaus of bad shoes... And then off to bed becaus I was cold and grumpy and tired as hell. But overall thinking about this day, it was a good day :)

MY dad finaly believes he has diabetes, the docters have been telling this for a year to him but somehow he did not believe them but now he does.

We gonna change our way of eating at home (finaly) becaus when I wanted to change it I was selfish and nobody should diet becaus I found I had to , but now that he has diabetes everyone in house has to ... funny eh, but yeah it's positive.

It is realy time for me to do something, I already weigh .... 97kg :( Things start to hurt like my right knee and becaus of my huge boobs I have neck and high backpain. Hopefully they will shrink in the proces of losing weight. Also , if I still want to get a boobreduction operation I have to loose weight so ...

2 days ago my dad and I went shopping for sport clothes becaus ofcourse I don't have them and found some nice shoes, even though there was not much choice for nice woman sportshoes there.

We also found a centercourt fitness like 2 streets away from home, and monday we gonna start there :) I'm curious if it's going to work for me becaus I tried before and I did not do that for more then maybe 3 times. Doing it alone is boring, I never likes sports so ... Hope it will be fun doing this with my dad becaus we don't get along that very well so ...

Wish me luck, I know it will be hard in the beginning for me, but I just have to do this :(

I still am pretty sad about Elsie, but needed another female for Sambuca to company her. So monday I decided that I was going to get one and called Laura if she wanted to come with me becaus we like to do these things together but when I called she said I had to wait.Why I asked her and she had a struggle to keep cool and told me she had a suprise for me. I did not had to think long about it to know she was to give me a new rat. But guess what, they will be with 2!

Wednesday she would come with them and I had butterfly's in my stomach! Then she told me she could not come becaus of schoolissues. First I believed her until I was riding back at home from school and I wondered if it was ajoke to supriseme, but nah ...

Got home and saw the typical erotic drawings on my board in the diningroom and I knew she was somewhere in my house. My stephmom told me she just passed by and was already gone but she's not fooling me.

In my room there was my light on, window open, computer on with Skyrim on (yeah you addict!) and then I saw this cute face of Dotje between my pillows. I stroked her and was swearing at Laura if she could hear me , but she was downstairs at my parents room, giggling with Kitzen. Bitches!! :D

Such a nice suprise and I totally adore my new girls, Dotje likes to lick my whole face and Pinky(thats how my bf wants to call her) is so cute and amazigly soft!

The only downside right ow is that both of them have a tumororsomethig, wich they did not metion when Laura adopted them for me ... I hope it will not get this bad that I will ahve to pay 2 big operation in a short period of time becaus those are very expensive. Ratito knew nothing of this becaus its trough another girl they came to us, they would not let us adopt these if they knew they had those bumps.

Blog: bad copy from Louise Black original corset

Most of us goth girls adore the lovely ribcage corsets from Louise Black. She is famous among us for them and she makes such a good quality of corsets! I can know, becaus (finaly) I own one.

This is one from Louise:

Now I understand that not everyone can pay such big sum of money for a corset and they want some cheaper stuff almost as good as the original one or just inspired on these. But now I found via tumbler, to etsy a "copy" corset of this one and was suprised about the bad quality of the printing of the ribcage.

Here the corset I found:

Corset from your poison, although the whole corset on itself is not bad (the lace looks pretty cheap though), but realy that printing of the ribcage gives me the kreeps. I would never spend 60 dollars on it!

But who am I to stop people from buying it. Just my personal opinion about this.

In class for Web Atelier we had to make something around typography, first we picked a lettertype and do something fun with it, then make a short flash movie to fit with it. I still don't know how to post a swv file on here so the movie will come later maybe.

We also had to use the name of the lettertype in our work, mine is the type Headhunter.

Yesterday I found my lovely Elsie dead in the cage. I hope it was while she was sleeping. She and Sambuca were the first couple of rats I that I adopted so it's pretty painfull .

She was a very special one, she had dumbo ears and was very strange :) She was not the type of rat who liked to be picked up or be hugged, but she always loved to be pissed at the other rats, walk all over me on the bed, and steal the food out of my hands. Yup I loved her very much, she was like having a teenager :)

So yeah right now I'm feeling sad and not wanna be active like I normally am on the internet.

Books: I bought new books from George RR Martin and Markus Heitz

Yeah I'm pretty much addicted to reading , especially fantasy books. Some of you may know that I already have been reading the books series of "Het lied van ijs en vuur"/"A Song of Ice and Fire" And finaly I have the new one (although it has been released in English for a longer time then the dutch translations) "Een dans met draken"/"A dance with dragons" part 1

I can't wait to read it but I'm already reading another book at the moment, so it will have to wait.

Second book I got is from Markus Heitz, also a writer i've been collecting his books from. I have been reading already the 2 first books of the "De Dwergen"/"Dwarves" series and also have been reading the first part of "De legende van de Alfen - De gerechtvaardigde toorn" and now i've bought the second part called "Dagen van vergelding". I love the first book very much, becaus this race seems to be so arrogant but still very intresting in the ways they think and how they handle the situations they get into. So when I saw this copy of part 2 (wich i did not knew of till i bought it) I had to have it!

DIY: Polkadot dress

Owyeah! I finaly finished my polkadotdress!! It took me so long becaus of so little free time I have but I done it.

The fabric I got from my dad, yeah strangly :) he had visited my fabricstore to buy something for my stephmom and saw this fabric laying around and bought me 6 meters of it! love it very much.

I like how the dress turned out, but maybe next time I will make the same odel but with longer sleeves.

also, my boyfriend thinks I look like a nun in it ... ass

Yeah some of you may now that I'm totally in love with rats, I own 2 and have 3 other ones on visit from time to time ;)

But yeah, when we went to the ikea we saw they still have those rat plushies but now in also other colors and mini versions owyeah! so my boyfriend gor me a big white and black one for my grey one I got from him 5 years ago when we just got together :D

And I bough those mini's , also for Laura as a present ^^

They only had the grey and white mini rats , not the brown one, to bad , I would have bought him too!

Journal: Ikea chairs

Last saturday my dad , boyfriend and I went to the ikea for new chairs and a washtable. My dad had bought those big ass chairs a few years ago but our diningroom is very small so we always had problem to get trough for the kitchen or when people are already sitting you just cannot past and everyone needs to get up so people can go trough.

So he decided to get new smaller ones:

They are very pretty in our livingroom and the space looks much bigger now. So yeah , yesterday me and my dad had to fix these chairs so he could take the old ones to my stephmom's place tomorrow, so we worked on the chairs till very late and I'm broken now. Have been doing that on the floor becaus we have no space XD

Artblog: Workshop cartoondrawing 2

Yesterday I finished the emotions I drew in my workshop cartoondrawing and started with a figure with clothes on.

I had also do the technique I wanted to make my strip with. I wanted to go black and white with accents in red. So I started with drawing the body , the face and then the clothes. Finished it with black ink and red marker. My teacher found it very clean done and I can continue with this style for the strip.

Now I need to find a name and story for the strip , I was thinking of some goth alice in wonderland, but maybe that would be so unoriginal, many goths did that already. I'm not so good in making my own stories :(

Oh well , this blog will be continued ;)

Around this time of the year I just love to shop there, why? Becaus they have so much craftingmaterials laying around for so little money, nothing costs more then €1.50!! So I had a lot of cute stuff for so little money, I'm a happy girl!

Today we had to work with typography. My teacher was not pleased with me when I choose horro and such as theme and was pushing me towards theme's I did not want to do ...

Artblog: Workshow cartoondrawing

Since 3 weeks I'm following a strip and cartoon workshop in school and by so far I realy like it! Finaly something diffrend then only observation drawing for 4 houres in the week. I serious need to work some more on expressions and poses of characters but so far I'm pretty okay with my results I already booked.

My teacher and I choose to do a more realistic style instead of the typical easydrawing cartoons ... I guess such thing is no challange to me as I want to get my drawinglevel up. She also was pretty happy with the results and I'm already forward with my work becaus I need some more time at the end when we will be making a real (little) storyline that we have to work out in our techniques.

Blog: Rat Noir with tumor

Laura her rat named Noir have been staying for some time with me and has been the sweetest girl ever. When I first got her for Laura (she lost her previous one and I know this new one would focus her on something else) she was a bit of a biter and screamer. Everytime a other rat came nearby her she made those weird noises the other ones never make. Yeah she was very scared and peed and pooped a lot becaus of that XD

But after a while she got comforteble with her cagemates and she started to be such a nice girl. Still little bit carefull but she knows us and the other rats well and seems to enjoy the foods and attention.

About less then 2 months ago I noticed a bump on her right side behind her frontpaw. First I was not that concerned and thought it would go away, one of my rats had it before becaus of a bite and disappeared. But after some time it statred to grow faster and faster. I told LAura and now she was concerned too. Though she always ate good and did not seem to notice it herself till it got so big that it was a lil bit harder to run normally.

Then Laura decided to go for a surgery to get it removed. That happend yesterday, and it seemed the tumor was like 71grams! poor baby. But she got rid of it now and is recovering, I'm going to visit her tomorrow! Hope she's getting trough this and I will play with her soon like nothing ever happend :)

Journal: Restaurant

Yesterday I came home from school and made myself ready to go out for dinner with my familie and dad his colleagues from work. Normally we don't go out that much with the familie so I was a lil bit nervous.

They were with 3 couples, an older pair, a lesbian couple and another couple a lil bit younger then my own father.

First I was feeling weird becaus those are people my dad knows so I have to be polite even though I was scared they would disaprove me with the way I looked but thank god they were pretty nice people. One lady was very intrested in my studies and fashion so we talked a lot to eachother wich made me feel very comforteble.

The food was nice too, it was a little italian restaurant called "La Lanterna" in centrum of Antwerp. First I had big

prawns with a sauce of garlic, tomatoes and white whine wich was very good. To bad they only put 3 of those prawns on the plate , loved to had some more of those.

Then I had some spaghetti bolognese, boring choice but it also was very delicious. I find that most Italian restaurants always give lots of pasta and little sauce but this one was very good, plenty of nice sauce. The also had some little bottles with oils for the pasta and I picked up a bottle with green peppers I believe, it was pretty spicy but I like that :D

As dessert I picked a dame blanche yum yum! They made the vanilla icecream themselves and it was heavenly!

Then we went to a café to chat and drink but my stephmom had some issues. Her knees are broken and it took a long time till she arrived at the café while everyone was already sitting there... I found that a lil bit rude. Lydia almost cried about it, she never goes outside anymore becaus of her knees and Parkinson. She is just so slow, is always in pain and I think she is a lil bit depressive becaus all of that. I hate to see her like that, wich I could do something about it so she would have a normal social life back becaus she doesn't see her friends anymore that often becaus all of this. :(

Then we took a taxi home and my dad and I watched a show we programmed on tv calles "De voice van Vlaanderen". They have some good talent there! And I have a big crush on Alex Callier! yup yup

In school I'm following a workshop named "Cartoon and comic drawing" and we had to do some research for it, to know what style we want to do.

So I went to the bookstore, hoping to find some Emily the strange but nah ... So I had to find something else and found this book with illustrations of some cronics. I just love the illustrations so I bought it.

It's filled with fantasy characters and some knightish armors and weapons. Also some nice dragons and underseacreatures. I'm so in love with the book!!

Just love this page so much, yeah the love for tentacle underseacreatures is still there :D

Journal: C1000 shopping

We all in the Flanders love shopping in The Netherlands, they are cheaper and have much more choice of food and other products so today we decided to go to C100.

The first thing on my list were Bapao breads, those are with soft balls of bread with in the center some yummie meat with sauce. I am mad for the chicken with curry nom nom.

Also they have fruity sprinkles for on bread. We in Belgium only have the chocolat versions of it :/ or the blue and pink ones that is used for babyshowers.

My boyfriend found the love of his life there, Dr. Pepper in big bottles. We can't seem to find those here in Belgium so he was trilled to find some in C1000.

Then we ride back home and I enjoyed myself with a Bapao bread yum!

Review: Lockshop soft curls auburn wig

A while ago I ordered in a grouporder a wig from lockshop, the soft curls auburn wig. It's my first wig ever but have been doing a lot of research about it becus of my lil obsession with lolita.

The wig itself cost 28.50€ wich is very cheap, got myself a wigcomb (those have metal teeth instead of the plastic combs we use for ourselfs) and the shipping was not to much, but can't remember how much it was.

It's a very full wig , i'm not used to look at myself andsee so much hair! haha! but it's great, you cannot see the base of the wig trough the hairs so that's a big big plus. The bangs came long so you could self deside of you want to sweep it to the side or cut it the way you want your bangs to look. First I was scared to cute it , but i don't like sidebangs so i cut it till right above my eyes and that's just fine :)

First I thought the color was not the same as on the picture shown but now I realise that I unwrapped it when it was dar k and it looked more brown with red in . But now i've tried him on in daylight , I have to say the color is very precise :)

It came in a plastic bag with a hairnet, so i'm pleased with that.

Schoolwork: Dove flacon

We had to design a flacon in school for some bubblebath for Dove kids + care. It must have a nice fom but not to special becaus it all goed about the illustrations on the flacon itself. You had to make it obvious that it is bubblebath and it must be playfull for the kids. I finished it and send it in for school , I hope I get good point for it. Need to learn still so much for using Illustrator but it went okay I think

This week I realised I have to dye my hair again, I have a pretty huge growout so yeah. Bought myself a hairbleach for my roots on the lighter side , and darkblueblackish dye for the dark side of my head :D

Also I could not resist myself to go check with the cosmetics at Kruidvat so .. Ofcourse I had to but now nice nailpolish from Cartrice , they have such nice colors to choose from! So I bought myself some red (550 Marilyn & Me) and blue (580 Bues Brother vol. 2).

The blue nailpolish is as pretty as it looks int the bottle but the red i'm not so happy about , you need at least to layers and it's not as dark as it looks in the bottle , maybe I should paint a first layer black before I put the red on.

Review Striped Victorian Circus with Skeleton Cameo Corset by Louise Black

Today I finaly recieved my corset from Louise Black!! I ordered this one on 4th August. It's a corset I wanted for like ... forever! Since she made the first ones of these I already had a crush on it but never got the money together to order myself one.

Well this past summer a had a summerjob and when I saw she was going to discontinue this corsets I just went for it and ordered first a black one but they sold out so I had my second choice for a black and white striped one. This is maybe even better becaus I wear to much black on black XD

She asked my measurements and said it would take up to 8-9 weeks before she could send it, it's handmade to size you know , that takes time. It had some delay so I could not wear it for Halloween but meh ...

Also this was the first time I had tracking on my package and was fun to follow it online were it all goes :)

Halloween bracelet

Today I got an itch to do something with my fimoclay, I got pretty much of it but lately I never touch it anymore, sadly becaus it's so much fun and I'm getting better at it every time I play with it.

Becaus I'm still in a Halloweenmood I went for some halloweeninspired charmes to use in a bracelet. It took me some time becaus I still have some of the old fimo formula and those are not easy to use. They crumble while you try to make something and it does not get soft just by your bodytemperature so I sat in front of my heatingthingy and it finaly worked.

The pins in the charms are put in before baking and after baking it I curled it with my tongs. Put some rings in it, assemblage it with the braceletchain and voila.

Maybe I will varnish it but the varnish I have here is very glossy and that's not what a want. Should find myself a matte one.

Oh I just love that movie so much! I've seen this one many many times and love to watch them around Halloween.

Today it suprised me they gave it on Vijftv, a Belgian tvchannel. I enjoy it like i'm watching it for the first time, over and over again.

Also love the music in this one, maybe becaus I'm a big Danny Elfman fan. He works a lot with Tim Burton for his movies and he always touches me with his music. They always have just a lil creepy feeling that pulls a string inside of me.

Tim Burton always knows how to entertain me and make my life beautifull.

Computergames ... yeah I never realy cared about them becaus most of them make me very nervous.

But since I was a kid i've been watching my brother play games trough his youth like; Warcraft (the first game of it, not world of warcraft) Doom, Duke Nukem, and ofcourse The Elder Scrolls series Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion.

I loved to watch him play , I could sit for houres with him but never realy played. Little bit of Doom and Duke Nukem, we even connected our computers to play them together and ofcourse I lost ...Always. Becaus I get nervous with violent games and start playing like an idiot when I see an enemy coming for me XD

My brother asked me so many times to play the games myself instead of watching him for all those years, but never got to it. Untill he forced me to play Oblivion. A new world opened for me. I found the gameplay a bit diffrend from most games I saw and I did not panic that much when I saw enemie's coming for me. That your character could grow and train was very new to me and the tasks were just so much fun. I even had a lil addiction about the game , closed all of my curtains and played in the dark for houres.

Now that I finished the game a long time ago, it's not that much fun anymore to play it again .. to bad :(

But now Bethesda software is releasing a new game for The elder Scrolls series !! Skyrim!! I've been watching a lot of trailers for this game and it looks amazing , the graphics from Oblivion were pretty good , but this looks even better! Also there are more dragons in this one!!

My boyfriend knew how much I'm looking for it's release on 11-11-11 so he pre ordered it for my birthday :D
Next week it will come out and I will have it in my possession!

Realy I can't wait :D

Boekenbeurs 2011

This year it's the 75th edition of the Boekenbeurs in Antwerpen. It's been years ago since I went, becaus it's every year the same. It's always very crouded and hot, loads of books for kids and Belgian authors I don't give a shit about.

But somehow I wanted to visit this time, and so I went with my boyfriends, his mom and stephdad. 4 Rooms were filled with stands and annoying people. Glad I found some nice books in a stand full of fantasybooks ^___^ And a nice hardcover strip in a stand filled with manga and other strips. My boyfriend didn't found anything, he was searching for comics but strangly there was none to be found.

This is what i bought for my bookcollection:

ASH: I saw the cover and it already had my attention, a cute goth girl and when I peaked in the strip I knew i would love it. And I did, finished reading already , to bad it's part 1 of 2 parts :(

Elfenlied - Bernhard Hennen: I bought this one as follower for Elfen, but now I know it's book nr 4 and not nr 2!! they should but it on the cover telling that :( Now I still have to but Elfenwinter and Elfenlicht

J R R Tolkien - In de ban van de ring: I was thinking of buying this one for a very long time. I've seen the movies first before I realised it was a book! Also Laura told me that there is a lot not seen in the movies wich are written in the book so :)

De strijd van de dwergen - Markus Heitz: This is also a following book for the one I already had; De dwergen.

Well, this was all but it cost me a lot of money :( weih Books are so expensive but I realise they are worth it :) Can't wait t read them and maybe make some reviews about them.

Zombiewalk Antwerpen 2011

Today was the first Zombiewalk ever in Antwerp. I woke up very early to do my make up but especially for those contactlenses becaus I still suck at getting them in my eyes ... But I had to have them in , becaus they just made it all look perfect.

Zowie called me if she could come with me, ofcourse she can. She also looked very awesome and even had a piece of sheepsbone and flesh on her coat that her mom sewed on. The boyfriend overslept (again, he has that awefull habit) so I could not do his make up but someone else did a bit.

We arrived early and already noticed the many photographers ... bit annoying if you ask me , and a lot of people are rude by taking pictures (with their cellphones) right in front of your face without asking nicely ... bugs me very much but I guess you have that when you are dressed special.

The walk itself was in the beginning very fun , Laura was there so that's always fun. But after some time it starts to get boring , we went trough streets that were empty (no people to watch us being dead) and there was police everywhere to keep an eye on us ..

When we paused my boyfriend, Zowie and I went to a café where Zowies mom and stephdad were sitting, had some orange juice and a nice talk . Then we realised the group already left to finish the walk so we did not finish it :(

Then my boyfriend took me out to eat some pitta in a lil restaurant, oh I love their pitta and they're so cheap ^_^ After that we went to the Rots where i would find LAura and Xanthy, had some chats about what we would improve for the next walk and such :)

Realy loved these girls!! so bloody and nice colored hair (I just have a thing for unnatural colored hair)

A little while ago Shana (old classmate) asked me if I wanted to adopt a naked female rat, her dad trains animals for television and shows. Now he's training a naked female rat and I guess they don't know where to go to with it afterwards so :) I asked me dad very nervously becaus he said I only could get 2 rats and nothing more. But he said yes so i'm very happy at the moment and cannot wait till she arrives at home. she's still in training so ... wondering what she will be trained for, need to ask her about that :)

Last week I ordered some nice jewelery from EmikoDesigns. There was a lot of discount becaus of Halloween so I did not pay much for them.

I ordered a ribcage necklace with matching ring and a necklace with a heartogran on it. I payed and today it came in with the mail. She used a envelope with bubblewrap foil, only one necklace survived the mail :(

The heartnecklace had a shipped piece from the frame and the ring was bend flat so I tried to bend it back to normal wich made me realise the material of the ring is way to flexible to survive long :( Also the camé came loose from the ring.

Now I fixed everything with superglue, but I think she has to think about other packing methods to save her jewelery from breaking in the mail.

But still I'm happy i got them , they are lovely :)

Halloween / Kreepsville 666 shopping at AttitudeHolland review

Few weeks ago I noticed AttitudeHolland had 20% discount on their Halloween atricles so I thought I had to shop some nice things ;)

First I had a lot of problems with my existing acount, I had this one from when I was 13 or so. Tried to log in , but got errors saying my emailadres don't excist. So I thought maybe my acount got expired becaus of not using it for many years. But when I tried to make a new acount , it said my emailadres was not unique so it had been used ... weird ....

Then I tried to get my password and such via those mailthingies if you forget your password, but also here i got errors , and then I sended them a personal mail about it. They said they had been giving me the password and such , but it never arrived in my mailbox :-/ Also they could not send it in a normal mail becaus of the privacyrules.

Adventually I got them and my loginacount is made on a old emailadres I did not use since I was 14 ... so it was normal I could not log in. But in the meantime they said I should create a new acount with another emailadres. So I made a new one and ordered directly after it, payed for it.

They next day I found out I could not log in, in my new acount!!! I had everything right this time , new emailadres and password .. I think they have problems with their system were they did not talk about.

So I had mail contact with a girl who works their to help me with all this, she was very friendly and helpfull. She was very patient with me becaus I paniced a lil becaus I'm not a pro at ordering online XD Finaly found the code of my order and gave it to her and she let me know about the orderstatus by personal mail. Thank you Esther!

Last Tuesday it got shipped and today it arrived. So from here there will be pictures of it :)

First it looked very good , but after putting it on I realised it's a lil unrealistic big I think, and the chin sticks out when wearing it

Bones socks , they can come over the knee a lil but becaus of my big calfs the bones are lil bit stretched to big bones XD

Kreepsville 666 skeletondress size XL: it looks very pretty but I think it's pretty small for an XL :-/ and it's very short , could not wear this as a dress becaus not my full behind is covered with the fabric.

But overall I'm very happy with this order!!

Got tired of my blonde hair , it never stays white for long so ... Had some leftover laying around and yesterday I dyed my other half purple (violet from la riche directions + conditioner)

I have to say I love it , it's still fibrant as it normally would be , but with the conditioner it turned out lil bit more softer :)

Also another chance to wear my purple blouse ... I never wear it :(

Guinness book of world record - longest catwalk ever in Wijnegem!

Yesterday is happend. Wijnegem shopping center in Belgium wanted to set te new record for Guinness book of world record, for the longest catwalk ever. The first record to beat was from Thailand, a catwalk of 1,594 km.

But 3 weeks before this event Turkey beat the record for almost 2 km!! So our catwalk had to be more then that and was 2,3km long :D

Few days ago my teacher of my fashionclasses asked me if I would participate becaus she realy wanted my pieces with it and she would take care of the models, so I said yes :) Took my pieces to school and yesterday I had to be there early to dress them and make sure their hair was done, but my teacher forgot to mention me to get a make up artist with it , so we had to do it ourselfs ...

The only thing that was not nice for the models was to walk 2,3 km with those darn high hells, most of them had bleeding ankles :(

My dad and boyfriend were there with me , and ofcourse my dad took over 1000 pictures from the whole event , but I just picked a few for you to see :)

Nuki died

Today my lovely naked rat Nuki died. She was getting skinnier very fast , just a week time she got so skinny! Tried to give her vitamins and more food so she would get fatter but it did not work , even though she ate a lot.

First I thought it was becaus of her teeth , they looked very long , but after looking a the other rats, there was not big diffrence. She always had been a weak rat and Laura and me never thought she would live so long anymore, but she's been with me for 3 or 4 months I believe.

First she was very shy and always hiding under blankets and cussions. But the first night i had her she already liked my attention so I desided to keep her. (First Laura bought her thinking she was a male, but turned out he had nipples, we would return her for a male but I could not let that happen after she stayed one night)

She was not normal, she could not climb normally on things becaus her claws were crooked. Her nails were way to thick but she could not use them properly. She always jumped in a weird way to get on things .

Yeah I'm gonna miss that girl.

Lately I'm inspired by the fall, it reminds me of the warm colors like orange, brown, yellow, some greens of the natures in this season and the animals coloring with it :)

On weheartit I found many pictures of deers, foxes, bunnies, squirrels and got me inspired to make some designs for dresses for myself to make. This is hopefully the first of many to come:

My birthday

Yesterday I turned 21 and have mixed feeling about it. I'm still young , but don't like to get reminded that I get older every year. But it's the day people are nicer to you , even some give you presents and have some extra fun.

I was not in the mood for parties so i did not invite or oganise anything for it. In the morning my dad got me some sausagebread and some bday money from all the people at home. My tstephmom made me a beautifull cake! Went to school and got a lil card , did not expect it so it was nice.

At home Laura came by what was not planned :D but i don't mind at all becaus she brites up my dad , always. She got me 2 nice presents, a bag with a big cupcake on and a colorfull lollypop! She played Oblivion on my pc again :D Then Myles got home and gave me the present of his mommy to me, a kello kitty bathrobe and towel ^^ + such thing for on your head. His present will be Skyrim , a game that will come out in november but he pre ordered it for me yay ^^

We ate some fries and that was pretty much it. It turned out better then I normally thought :) Thank you to all for the birthday wishes and such :) hopefully it takes a while before the next one XD

Black and white dreams

When I was browsing op Tumbler, I came across this picture and had this strange feeling in my stomach. This is something I had seen before and gave me the creeps ... So I was thinking from where I could have seen this image and it all came back to me.

When I was younger I had a long period op black and white dreams, and nothing realy happened in them except for walking endlessly. I had many dreams where I was walking this road with loads of big trees, you could not see anything much else then the road and the trees. This could go on for a long time, till I sometimes came at a black swamp and then I always woke up ... No idea why I had them but they haunted me for a very long time and now it's years ago since I had the last one of those ...

But seeing this pictures makes me a lil scared ..

Dyed my hair half black half white

Yesterday I just did it, my dyes where already lying around , took myself 2 mirrors and just did it. Normally my boyfriend does my hair but I think he's sick of it becaus he's coming with retarded excuses to not do it so ...

The day before I reshaved my undercut becaus i did not shaved it for almost a year. It was all grown back to the length of my current hair. Then yesterday I split my hair in 2 right in the middle of my head. Not easy when doing this on your own with 2 mirrors ... well not for me anyway.

First I dyed my outgrowth of my already blond hair and did some extra on the parts that were not light enough for me. Had to do this twice due the fact that it's hard to look at your own hair with 2 mirrors.

Then I dyed the other part black wich was much easier and faster. My neck and ear are also dyed XD

Now the only thing is ... I will probably have to wash those parts seperatly to prevent bleeding at the blonde part ... weih

I like it very much , but what I know from the past is that I will have to dye the black part pretty fast again becaus of the blond still being underneat the layer black and will show pretty quikly after washing it. But I have already bought another pack of black dye for that ;)

Making a header in illustrator

In school I had some lessons in Illustrator in it's going well :) Had only maybe 2 lessons of illustrator last schoolyear, we were more busy with Photoshop, so it was a bit confusing using illustrator so much.

For my class digitale illustration we have to make a header with an avatar related to you of your intrests. So far I got only my avatar becaus I'm still pretty slow. Most of my fellow students are much futher, they all had seen this in previous studies so i'm the nuub there :(

Hi lovelies!

Lately I've been thinking much about Halloween and upcoming Zombiewalk the day before Halloween. For that I have bought some zombie white lenses to go for the outfit that I still don't have XD Got these in Ultra Violet for 29,95€ I think and could last for a year.

Well I never realy wore contactlenses, so for me it's a hell to put them in, always takes me a half hour!!! I realy don't get how people get them in so fast :( but! I'm going to practise on it!

I finaly got on in and took a picture of it. I think it's pretty creepy and here at home they realy didn't like it. My sis almost pooped her pants when she saw me for the first time with it XD

Webdesign school

I was not totally sure if this would be for me , sitting houres behind my pc for making websites and their layouts ... but now I had my first lessons of HTML, working in Dreamweave, Illustrator, and Flash ... And geuss what , I'm hanging on my teachers lips.

Everything they say is so intresting and I totally understand what they are saying and I'm picking up very fast I think. Ofcourse I don't need to be so oversure now , it's gonna get a lot tougher but I think I have the motivation for it.

When I'm having something to show I will also post them here if you people like :)

But damn I miss my best friend in class, my other classmates are just so diffrend ... gonna give it some more time I guess ...

Hair idea's

I'm bored of my hair , it was nice cotton cottonpink this summer, but with all the swimming it turnted into blah! Now it's ugly blonde with lots of grown out hair.

So I had this idea for years but never did it, why? I don't know , maybe I'm scared that EVERYONE would call me Cruella de Vil becaus it's the only character having hair like that, that loads of people could relate to when I would dye my hair like that. Yes I want it black and white , and maybe even black and another color.

It's just I'm never realy satisfied of the choice to be OR blonde OR black, it's not good option to switch around to much between those, my hair can tell you that.

But now the idea is more powerfull then before , I realy want it, I already bought the dye. Now just only doing it ...

what do you guys think? Would it suit me?

When on vacation in south France I was suprised about the visit of many lil creatures that I would never see in the city where I live :) I was very active with my new camera and snapped some pictures of them ^_^

First day of school

1 september means for a lot of Belgian students the end of vacation and the first day of school. So it was for me too :)

Laura stayed over for some gaming and she brought me to wave me on the first day of school :p Very cute.

I was very scared and felt tummysick of the nerves. I never like to go to a new class with new people. Especially now I'm studying webdesign and there will be diffrend people then the ones I always was used of in fashiondesigning. Those were full of weird girls and feminin males ;) Now it's full of normal guys and some snobby girls :(

I hope my first impression is not a good one becaus I'm scared that my new classmates won't like me becaus I'm weird and very shy ... we shall see I guess :)

Laura also picked me up at school and we got ourself some fries like the old days ^_^ It was nice weather so we hanged in the playing garden in the sun. Then she had to leave to go back home. Thank you for supporting me on a scary day Laura!

Tomorrow I will already start with some drawinglessons owyeah!

While looking for a cute souvenir for Laura in Marseille, I stumbled on a store where they sold loads of schoolstuff with cute girlish cartoons on them including hello kitty. But then I found this cute cards of girls with a lil touch of goth in them, do you also see it? I just felt in love with the whole picture of the style and decided to buy 3 of them :)

My vacation was in south of France, I never been there before, only in north and east France.

So I was shocked when I saw loads of mountains and after leaving the big roads, you had those scary lil sharp roads trough the mountains.

I could poop my pants becaus DAMN it was high and you could fall deep when having an accident. But the view of the mountains were amazing, very beautifull :)

I've been back home for just one hour! I hate long cartrips, it was 13 houres in total , it hurts you legs and butt!

My weekend

This past few days I got stuck with Laura (not that I mind at all!) Those were fun days of funy conversations, a traintrip with the rats, and some lazyness at my stephmom's place :)

Saturday Laura came back to Antwerp and we were meeting eachother in the evening with our friend Kitzen <3 missed that girl so much! Had some nice fries with my boyfriend and then we got back to my place. Laura asked me to put some dreads that she made in her hair. To bad her hair is so short, they keep sliding off :( watched a movie and went to bed to have and 2 houre long awesome conversation with Laura.

Waking up and getting ready for our traintrip to my stephmom's place, she invited us to come and relax there. Also took my girls with us becaus Laura would take them for the holidays. We came there and it was some nice weather so Laura desided to go have a swim with the girls, was very cute to see how lovely she plays with them.

The we watched some Project Runway becaus at my mom's place I can record things from television and at my own place we still don't have that. So I recorded it long time ago to record every episode from it :p

Then we went sleeping but I had real problems with my allergy , I'm extreme allergic to cats, and my mom had one years ago but the hair is still somewhere in the carpets what still triggers my allergy... realy sucks becaus I realy feel like flue-ish when that happends.

Next day we wanted to go to a lil store with a lot of wool but it was closed :( so we went shopping in a outletstore for very cheap. I bought 3 halloween sweaters, they are lil bit shapeless but I'm gonna fix that soon. Ooooh i love halloween XD Also went shopping for some food, lol how much fun was that :p

Today Laura went back home and so did we, we cleaned the place a bit and got back here.
My babies are now at Laura's place becaus I'm going on holidays (oh France, I can already smell your fresh baked croissants!) But now I feel lil bit lonely in my room with only 2 boy rats left.

Colorfull cupcakes try out

Most of you girls will share my love for colorfull cupcakes, lately you see them all over internet and they are very inspiring to me. I never been a real kitchinprincess but this I had to try out, and so did my mom.

She knew how to make the basic cupcake and the topping (creme au beurre). While baking the first problems arrived, I filled the cups to much and so the dough found his way out of the cups :( So I had to trim them XD

For the creme au beurre we added some foodcoloring to make it more fun and that turned out very good. Decorating it on the cake was more difficult becaus you see it's pretty messy :( but I guess I will get better when trying some more. Added some M&M's for the colorfullnes and becaus I just like them XD

They look bad but the taste is very good and that's important i guess, when you are a starter :p

New camera

Hey guys!

just wanted to bring the news I bought a new camera, much better than the one i used before so I'm hoping to give you better pictures of my adventures in the future ^___^

It's a Canon powershot SX130 IS 12x optical zoom, when I have more expercience with it I will make a review about it :)

And just to let you know what happend the last past days, Laura stayed for a night of gaming , she was also shooting in the city while I was shopping. Did not realy shop that much as I hoped for :( Don't like the new stuff that's in the stores right now. She also took already some of the rats home, becaus over 2 weeks i will be in france and she will be babysitting on the group. Buy loads of food Laura , becaus they ate like 4 big bags of foodies!

Yup finaly it's vacation for me and hopefully I will be blogging some more for 2 weeks , becaus then I will be on vacation in France and I have no idea if I can get internet there :(

My money is already in, so now I'm making a lil shoppinglist becaus now i will have some money for the more expensive things. Never had so much money before XD

Going for a new camera, a much much better one , becaus the one i have now is to cry for .. hatefull thing i got for my bday years ago, never had the money to get a decent one. Also need new headphones, mine is dieing slowly so ...

So 3 weeks of work has passed, not fast enough i can say. It's a very boring job, 8 houres behind a pc drawing lines in diffrend colors all day long ... they realy know what to give a jobstudent but hey , easy money i guess but it's hard to keep my eyes open when doing it.

Yesterday I went shopping, bought me some nice stuff but now I will only show you the 2 pieces of jewelery i bought. I love them so much! I love the color maybe the most , it suits so pretty with all my black clothing :)

This is a long golden necklace with some raw greenish rock in it, but i'm guessing its some kind of plastic :(

This big ring made me thing of water and mermaids somehow.

Een feestmaal voo kraaien/A Feast for Crows review

Yup, i've finished the 4th book of this series. I have to say I just love this books, but not at first. There is a lot of blabla but after a while you realise that you needed the blabla to go further in the book and understand what's happening. Also this one was a lil bit boring at moments, but there was still enough to keep you go on reading, especially those last parts.

I missed a lot of my favourite characters like Tyrion for instand , but at one of the last pages the writer explains that this is becaus of the book being so big that he wanted to split it in two and started with just half of the main characters and do the rest in the next coming book.

So now I'm searching for "Een dans met draken" but I don't find much info about it except for that it will be released today in Dutch but I cannot find it anywhere yet? :/ weih I want to read it right now!

Vacationwork on BASF + Game of Thrones

Sorry for my lack of blogging, I'm so busy these days. For everyone it's vacation except for me. I have a vacationsjob (bleh my dad forced me a little too) on a big chemical factory where I sit behind a pc with loads of maps with drawings from all the pipes and the check ups. Need to digitalize it. 9 maps done, 98 still to go.

My chef gave me his laptop to work on till he had another one for me. So today was the switch and suddely his laptop crashed ... He asked me if a closed the laptop the right way, I did but somehow he kept looking at me like I did it. Felt so so bad but could not think about anything that could cause the crash. Luckly a professional could get his records back so I'm not in total shit.

So yeah today sucked and hopefully I will not get any problems for it later on.

Also these last 2 evening Laura watched "Game of Thrones" with me, after I have been reading about this serie existed on this girls review I had to download season 1 becaus I'm reading the books and love them very much so the movie has some potential at least :)

We watched 3 episodes now and I love it, so much work in the details but still the actors don't always look like the ones in my head that I created while reading. Meh

My stephmom and I have been chatting about baking cupcakes , but not just normal cupcakes, more the special kind with all those colors and topping. First we jneed a good recepy for the taste, need some coloringfluids and supplies becaus we only have those white paper cups to get them in but I hate those.

So yesterday I was shopping for some make up (see my previous blog) and also went lil bit futher to the Blokker. There I found some good stuff and just had some lil money left for just a tiny bit, else I had much more with me :p

Cracking nail art by Eccence review

Most of you girls now this is something new in the beautyworld and everyone has to have it ... so yes I wanted to try it too but not for an expensive price. I saw some friends using the Eccence one becaus it's lots cheaper around 2 euro's so :D When I got my bleach more my roots (yeah it's awefull right now) I was searching for this nailpolish and found it fast.

You find 2 colors for the "base" and 2 colors for the real crackling effect. I did not but the base becaus I heard you could just use any nailpolish you want in whatever color you want to I only bought the black crackling effect nailpolish.

Now I have put on my "Lucky in lilac" from CATRICE as base ,let it dry and applied the crackling nailpolish. It already cracked after 15 secons or so, unless you did a thick layer on it then it takes a lil bit more and it does not crack so pretty as for the other nails.

It's fun watching it :D and I'm happy that i did not had to spend lot's of money on it becaui'm a cheapass mofo like that XD also bought some eyeshadows ,a good black eyeliner from essence and a gold pencil.

RIP Chevalier (pet rat)

2 night ago Laura her rat Chevalier died at my place. We both were sleeping while it happend. When I woke up I noticed him "sleeping" with his face in a toiletpaperroll and found that funny becaus rats sometimes sleep in such weird ways. I wanted to pet him but when my finger touched him he was stiff and I got in some sort of panic. I never had an expierence with dead pets before so ... Laura told me to leave the room and came back to me with him in some fleece blanket wrapped so I could say goodbye.

I was shocked when I saw him with so much blood around his mouth and nose, we both think a bleeding in the head becaus we did not found any bitewound on him or the other rats so ...

I'm gonna miss him even though he was not long with us, he started to trust me and he was already in my heart ...

Last day of being a fashionstudent

Yep, It's over and out being a fashionstudent becaus it's the end of my last year. I passed with 75% and being first of the class :) My dad is so proud of me, he never shows emotions but this time he stood there and wispered n my ear he was so so proud, it made me cry.

What I'm going to do now? Well I'm going to study webdesign now, I'm going to do this becaus in fashion it's hard to find a nice paid job. Or I can work in a store as salesman but I suck at that job, did it many times before but realy don't like it , i'm to shy and asocial to do it. Or i could work in a retouchebusiness but that's so boring :(

So webdesign will be my plan B and would be easy to combine with the dream to have a lil webstore ,maybe in the future :)

But i'm sad that it's over now, the friendships i build will be up for the test if they will last forever , i hope it will. My best friend Laura will be going to academy for jewelerydesign (how awesome is that!) but this will make her so busy that it will be hard to see eachother a lot like we did before :(

Yup , I had some fun days this week. Laura stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. You wanna know why? I showed her a game I liked very much , she started playing it and since then I could not get her away from my computer, she's so addicted! Also we had a lot of fun with all the 9 rats :D It's awesome to see them explore my bed and the pillows and crawl all over me , attacking my piercings and such ^_^
